The expert craftsmen and designers at George Cromar perform our complete and personal goldsmith services in-house. We deal with irreplaceable treasures and historically important priceless artefacts which often have a place in the history of London and the United Kingdom.

    Years of use take their toll on historical pieces. Our aim is to strengthen weaknesses before breaks occur.

    Where a piece is irreparably damaged the aim will be to stop or slow down further deterioration.

    Replacement and/or reinforcement of an original part is carried out to enable continued use and preservation of value.

    Total restoration would aim to take a piece back as closely as possible to its original condition.

During my time as Clerk to the Leathersellers’ Company, I have used George Cromar on a number of occasions.
